Westin W2 Finesse Shad Spinning Rods

The Westin W2 Finesse Shad is a versatile range of sensitive spinning rods designed for fishing both soft plastics and hard lures. The progressive-fast blank provides excellent lure control and bite detection while retaining enough power through the lower sections to set hooks securely and control hard-fighting predators.

Originally developed with shad and jig fishing in mind, the Finesse Shad is particularly well suited to perch and zander, but has enough versatility for pike, asp and trout. The longer models are especially useful when fishing from the bank or when extra casting distance and line control are required.
