Devon Baits Frozen Sandeels

Sandeels are an incredible fish bait to use and are widely used by most Sea Anglers around our Coast for many species of fish including Ray and Bass We blast freeze our sandeels and really do make extraordinary efforts to ensure they are of the very highest quality. They are caught then delivered alive to our processing unit where they are swum in chilled filtered and aerated tanks. We then carefully net out small batches and stun them so they lay still but can still be packed while alive. Once vacuum packed they are straight into the blast freezer which freezes down to minus 37C all this ensures we produce the best quality blast frozen sandeels in the UK.

Before making any purchases of frozen products, please carefully review this important information

• All frozen baits will be packaged securely in thermal bubble wrap bags to help keep them cool for as long as possible during transit.
• Delivery occurs the next working day after dispatch. We strictly do not dispatch frozen orders on Fridays unless you choose Saturday delivery.
• Please ensure that someone is available to accept the delivery; we will not be liable for spoiled bait if no one can receive it.
• Your order will be delivered within 24 hours after it has been packed. It's normal for the bait to thaw during transit. We recommend that you refreeze the item as soon as you receive it.
• If you ordered dead bait, it may sometimes have redness or blood. This is common and expected. The bait is still perfectly fine to use.
• Consider delivery time when ordering frozen bait online. Although not as fresh as when initially packed from the sea, lake, or river, the bait is still suitable for use and can effectively catch fish.
