Cox & Rawle Dongle Clip

The MBC is used as a rotten bottom clip and is featured in Cox and Rawle Circle Hook Rigs to great effect. The clip holds the lead during the cast and releases when the rig hits the water leaving the lead attached to the rig by the weaker monofilament link line. If the fishing weight snags on the sea bed the weak line will part allowing you to safely retrieve the rig.
