Selwyn pond is controlled by Matson Anglers which is a Community Interest Company. Their main objective is to get kids off technology and out into the fresh air and inspire them to fish. They cater for all ages and abilities and hold dedicated open days.

The lake has been apart of Gloucester for many years but was unloved by previous caretakers and was in need of much restoration. Matson Anglers have now been in control of the lake for 3 years and is going from strength to strength.

The pond itself has a nice head of Roach, Skimmer Bream, Perch and Tench which reach up to a pound and a half. They recently restocked the venue with Carp and last November the environmental agency donated 100 Tench.

Matson Anglers also are an active match club which holds active fixtures and also holds local matches for kids which is something we (Lobbys Tackle) support.
